RN - ICU | ICU & ICU-CV Recovery | 12hr Nights | 36 hrs/week | Cerner | BLS, ACLS & NIHSS required | No first-time travelers | 24-bed ICU (expandable to 32) | Ratios 1:1-2 | Experience with respiratory failure, sepsis, ARDS, GI bleed, renal failure, CABG, TAVR, Impella, vascular/neuro surgeries, stroke, SAH, EVDs & ICP monitoring preferred | IABP, CRRT & ICP experience a plus | Basic EKG interpretation exam during orientation | Intensivist on unit 7a-5p with on-call coverage after hours | Charge RN usually free from assignment | Tele monitored with Spacelabs; nurses responsible for strip interpretation | All cardiac & vasoactive drips, conscious sedation | RT & Pharmacy available 24/7 | Floating required to MedSurg/Tele units (4E, 4W, 5E, 5W & 6E); travelers float first | Every other weekend required |
