Opportunity:

ICU RN - 12 HR NOCS - (36-48 GSA)

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with an ASAP start date
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36-48 hours per week (traveler will not be pre-scheduled more than 36 hours unless discussed - must be flexible as needed)
• Guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation week or holidays when the unit is closed
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Primary placement in the ICU with possible float to Med Surg units
• 22-bed ICU unit handling Sepsis, Respiratory Failure, CRRT, General Surgery, Vascular, and Cardiac cases
• Patient ratios depend on acuity: 1:1 for highest acuity, otherwise 1:2
• Minimum 2+ years of ICU experience required
• Epic charting experience required within the past 2 years
• Required certifications: Active RN or Compact license, AHA BLS, and NIHSS
• NIHSS certification preferred at submission; must be completed prior to end of orientation (provided at no charge)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub colors: Any solid color
• Candidates must be hardworking, possess strong time management skills, be resilient, manage change well, and be socially engaged
• Contractors must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
