ICU/CCU RN – Night Shift
- Contract: 15 weeks
- Start Date: December 14 (hard start)
- Experience: 2 years required
- EMR: Epic required
- Shift: Nights
- Weekends: Every other weekend required
- Floating: May float to DOU, Telemetry, or Med-Tele
Required Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- CPI
- MAB or VIP
- NIHSS
Required Skills:
- FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring
- Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Multisystem organ failure management
- 12-lead EKGs and ABG interpretation
- IV insulin protocols
- Acute and chronic renal failure management
- Port access, arterial lines, central lines, and PICC line management
- Blood product administration and IV starts
- Continuous IV paralytics, sedation, and procedural sedation
- Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
- CVA/acute stroke management
- Hypothermia protocols/Arctic Sun
- BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC, and ventilator management
- ETT and nasotracheal suctioning
- Emergency medications
- Infection prevention, isolation precautions, and PPE
- Phlebotomy
- Surgical wounds, drains, and wound vacs
- Assistance with chest tube insertion/removal
- Care of ventilated patients
