Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) in Carlsbad, NM. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while providing critical care to patients in the ICU. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide total care for ICU patients, including ventilators and titratable drips.
- Assist with patient hygiene and other essential care tasks.
- Float to the ER and Med-Surg departments as needed.
- Participate in a float rotation and assist with various nursing duties when floating.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Experience in ER and Med-Surg preferred.
- TNCC certification preferred.
- Experience with ventilators, titratable drips, and medication mixing preferred.
Additional Information:
- Unit has 12 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2-3.
- No call required; holidays may be required.
- EMR system used: MedHost.
- Scrub color: Any.
- Fingerprinting for all NM travelers is required; please ensure your agency is registered with the state of New Mexico as the fingerprint process can take several weeks.
