Job Description
Our client, a leading Level I Trauma Center in New Haven, CT, is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to start immediately.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for patients in a mixed acuity ICU and Step-Down unit.
- Manage arterial lines, ventilated patients, and central lines.
- Administer continuous IV sedation and titrate vasoactive drips.
- Interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias for accurate patient assessment.
- Ensure adherence to isolation precautions and personal protective equipment protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience required, preferably in a Level I or II Trauma Center.
- Proficiency in Epic charting system.
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
