This is a Med/Surg / Telemetry RN-type position based on the general acute-care RN requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: 2 years of acute-care RN experience
- Education: Nursing Diploma or ASN
- License: Active RN license
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Core Skills: Patient assessment, care planning, medication/treatment administration, patient education, discharge planning, delegation, and care coordination
- Leadership: Must be comfortable delegating to and supervising licensed/non-licensed staff, mentoring/precepting, and participating in quality-improvement activities
- Travel Fit: Strong acute-care RN background; Med/Surg or Tele experience would be a good match
Best specialties to target: Med/Surg, Med/Surg Tele, Telemetry, Stepdown/PCU nurses with at least 2 years of acute-care experience.
