Hiring: Critical Care RN (ICU) – Pikeville Medical Center
Facility: Pikeville Medical Center
Location: Pikeville, KY 41501
Start Date: 11/16/2026
Contract: 6 Weeks
Schedule: 4 Days/Week | 12-Hour Day Shifts (7 AM – 7 PM)
Hours: 48 Hours/Week
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
- Active Kentucky RN License.
- BLS required.
- ACLS required within 90 days (before completion of orientation).
- Basic EKG class required at the next available class.
- NIH Stroke Scale required within 90 days (before completion of orientation).
- TNCC preferred.
- Critical Care/ICU experience and strong cardiac monitoring skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care to critically ill adult and elderly patients.
- Airway and ventilator management.
- Cardiac monitoring and specialized IV drip titration.
- Post-operative vascular surgery care.
- Neurological, respiratory, renal, and gastrointestinal care.
- Central line care and invasive monitoring.
- CRRT, IV therapy, and transfusion therapy.
- Medication administration and sedation.
- Assist with specialized procedures and Code Blue management.
