Job Summary
The organization is seeking a qualified Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Specialist for a healthcare provider setting in ICU - 12-Hour Nights. This position involves providing comprehensive patient care in a 21-bed ICU unit, with responsibilities including managing patients with conditions such as ARDS/Pneumonia, Withdrawal, and Cardiogenic Shock. The role requires flexibility to meet staffing needs, with orientation dates scheduled on 11/9, 11/16, and 11/30.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience, prior travel experience, TN license or compact license on file at the time of submission, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, and experience with Cerner electronic medical record system.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Provide patient-centered care in the ICU, work across unit floors including float to Stepdown or Emergency Room as needed, ensuring adherence to unit protocols and standards.
- Additional Information: Orientation dates are scheduled, and the unit operates with a schedule determined by the team. This position involves working with adult patients aged 18 and older in a busy ICU setting.
