Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit, Mayfield, KY. The position provides critical care nursing services for adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced intensive care setting. Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend required.
- Required Qualifications:
- Two or more years of experience in critical care nursing
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Handle with Care certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) electrocardiogram and rhythms course
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Fast-paced clinical experience
- Strong critical-thinking and teamwork skills
- High-energy approach and willingness to take direction
- Additional Information:
- No call requirements
- Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients
- Common conditions include respiratory failure, sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis, gastrointestinal bleeding, atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular response, congestive heart failure, and chronic renal failure
- Weekly orientation is held on Mondays
- Scrubs may be any solid color; clothing with logos, cartoon-character scrubs, Crocs, and Hey Dudes are not permitted
