The Dallas, Texas area is seeking an experienced ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nurse for a general assignment in a specialized Oncology ICU. This position involves comprehensive care for critically ill patients, including titrating drips, ventilator management, and other complex procedures. The role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic team focused on high-quality patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Position Description: General comments indicate an ICU environment focused on oncology patients with a capacity of 10 beds, staffed by a team including charge nurses and staff nurses according to census.
- Unit Information: Oncology ICU with patient ratios of 2:1, utilizing equipment such as ventilators, CRRT, A-line, Bipap, Flow-track, and IV pumps.
- Required Qualifications: ACLS, BLS certifications; healthcare professional with a minimum of 3 years ICU experience; located in Dallas, Texas; previous experience with titrating drips and ventilated patients.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 11/16/2026 and ending on 02/15/2027.
- Additional Information: Candidates should possess strong ICU skills, including titrating drips and ventilator management, with preferred experience in CRRT and transplant procedures (Kidney, Pancreas, Liver). Compassionate personality and ability to work well with others are highly valued.
