Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Gastroenterology Laboratory. This procedural nursing position supports gastrointestinal laboratory care, including patient admission, Phase II recovery, and procedural support. Sedation experience is required, with varying daytime start times.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts of 10 hours, with start times varying between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM; 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience; procedural nursing and sedation experience; active or temporary Illinois license; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; successful completion of an EKG assessment with a score of 80% or higher.
- Preferred Qualifications: Travel or as-needed nursing experience.
- Additional Information:
- Responsibilities include admitting patients and providing Phase II recovery care.
- Procedural room support may be assigned based on competency.
- Orientation includes a 10-hour day shift on the first Monday and approximately 68 hours of testing and training.
- The assignment is scheduled from 11/15/2026 through 01/10/2027.
