Assignment Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room care to join our team on a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling a variety of emergency situations and delivering high-quality care in a rotating clinic setting. This position requires adaptability and a strong commitment to patient care in the Flossmoor, IL area.
Assignment Details
- Shift: 4x12 Nights
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2822.4 (negotiable)
- Charting System: Epic
- Patient Ratios Days/Nights/Weekends: 4/5/4
- Location: Flossmoor, Calumet City, and Tinley Park, IL
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
- Manage and interpret dysrhythmias
- Administer emergency medications
- Perform triage and prioritization of patients
- Identify and report neglect or abuse
- Start and maintain IVs
- Manage patients with multi-system organ dysfunction/failure
- Handle psychiatric holds and manage violent behavior
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Illinois RN license
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Emergency Room nursing
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Proficiency in managing general emergency department conditions
Preferred:
- Community Hospital experience
