Contract | 13 Weeks | 12-hour variable shifts between 11:00 AM – 3:00 AM, Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday | Every weekend and every other holiday required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment at a Level II Trauma facility
- Manage and assess patients across a rotating weekend schedule including evenings and overnight shifts
- Perform 12-lead EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia assessment as part of routine clinical duties
- Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR (required within the last year)
- Adapt effectively to a dynamic clinical environment; floating is not required
- Wear Navy Blue Scrubs per unit dress code
Required Qualifications
- Active Indiana RN license or Compact State License
- Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room experience
- AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Must successfully pass a 12-lead EKG and Dysrhythmia exam
- Proficiency with Epic EMR within the last year is required
- Must live at least 40 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Pediatric emergency experience is preferred
- Experience working in a Level II Trauma center
- Strong work ethic with demonstrated resilience and adaptability to change
