We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RN to support our Emergency Department in providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to emergencies promptly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Float to different areas within the ED to manage overflow and surge patients.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic charting system.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of telemetry experience required.
- Current MA RN license.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Willingness to work evening shifts with flexibility for start times.
- Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as needed.
- Pass a telemetry test during orientation with a score of 80% or higher.
- Strong skills in phlebotomy, IV management, and dysrhythmia interpretation.
