Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Emergency Room, Rumford, ME. This position provides emergency nursing care for patients of all ages, illnesses, and injuries in a small hospital emergency department. The role requires advanced clinical judgment, strong triage skills, and the ability to care for critically ill and injured patients.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse with 2 years of experience; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
- Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 p.m.7:00 a.m. flexible position, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week; every other weekend required.
- Additional Information: Provides emergency care for patients across the lifespan, including geriatric, adult, and pediatric populations. Triage experience is required. The role involves caring for a broad range of illnesses and injuries, including high-acuity trauma cases, with only two registered nurses working in the department.
