Job Summary
Emergency Room assignment supporting a fast-paced emergency department environment. The role involves caring for a diverse patient population, responding to time-sensitive clinical situations, and collaborating with an experienced emergency care team. The assignment is scheduled for six weeks with 12-hour day shifts.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 48 hours per week. Assignment dates are 11/09/2026 through 12/21/2026.
- Required Qualifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Required certifications must be included in the submission packet.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong neurological and cardiac care skills
- Experience working in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Additional Information:
- Emergency department setting with 12 beds and an average patient ratio of 4:1
- Clinical procedures include ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) care, stroke and tissue plasminogen activator (TPA) treatment, and rapid sequence intubation
- The department is recognized for rapid patient placement and a 12-minute door-to-needle time for tissue plasminogen activator (TPA)
- Royal blue scrubs are preferred; competitor emblems are not permitted
