Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse (ER) Location: Not Specified. This role involves providing care to adult and pediatric patients in a high-volume emergency department setting. The position requires delivering quality patient care during day and evening shifts, with weekend rotations and holiday coverage as part of a dynamic team dedicated to rapid response and trauma care.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS (AHA only) required.
- Education Requirements: Valid WI RN or Compact RN license.
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Department.
- Schedule: Day/Evening, 12-hour shifts, with shifts typically from 0900 to 2130 or 1100 to 2330. The minimum hours per week are 36.
- Additional qualifications include experience with arterial line management, care of ventilated patients, and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience, charting system experience with Cerner, community hospital experience, and spent time in Level I or Level II trauma centers.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Responsibilities include management of patients with multisystem organ failure, performing procedural sedation, and triage.
- Application instructions: Candidates must pass telemetry tests in adult and pediatric exams with strict scoring criteria.
