Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse in Rumford, ME This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a Level 3 trauma facility. The RN will handle a diverse patient population, managing all ages and medical needs, within a small hospital setting that serves as the primary emergency care provider for the surrounding area.
Job Details
- Position Description: Emergency Room RN responsible for delivering patient-centered emergency care at a critical access hospital that offers 24/7 emergency services, primary care, womens health, and medical-surgical services.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP certifications, 2 years of emergency nursing experience, located within the United States, with at least 2 years of experience in emergency care.
- Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The RN will be one of only two nurses on shift, requiring exceptional skills to handle a broad spectrum of illnesses and injuries for all age groups. The position involves caring for all types of patients that require emergency services, with unit technology including Omnicell, Cerner, and SBAR systems. Candidates must be ready to start on 11/09/2026 and work through 02/08/2027.
