Assignment Overview
We are seeking an experienced ER RN to join the emergency room team in Lake Geneva, WI. The ideal candidate will be skilled in handling a variety of situations with urgency and professionalism, providing exceptional care in a fast-paced environment.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Hospital
- Shift Details: Day hours with rotation weekends - 6a-6p and 8a-8p
- Assignment Length: 36 hours per week
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2295 (negotiable)
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing techniques and state laws.
- Document care according to standards.
- Perform assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations of care.
- Develop and execute patient care plans as prescribed by physicians and policies.
- Participate in department performance improvement activities.
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units as needed.
- Make critical decisions regarding patient safety and experience, escalating as necessary.
- Engage in professional development, unit practice activities, and peer review processes.
Qualifications
Required:
- WI RN Licensure
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications (AHA Provider level)
- Either TNCC or TNS certification
- Completion of education verification
