Position Description:
Provides emergency nursing care in an acute care setting, supporting the hospitals mission to deliver comprehensive health services for residents in southern Vermont and the surrounding tri-state area. The ER nurse will be responsible for handling a wide variety of medical cases with professionalism and compassion. -
Required Qualifications:
Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). A minimum of two years of emergency room experience is required. Licensure to submit is necessary. -
Schedule:
Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. -
Additional Information:
This position does not take local candidates and includes Night Every Other Weekend (EOW) shifts. Previous travel experience is highly preferred. The work environment is tobacco-free, with no smoking or tobacco products allowed on hospital property including parking areas.
