Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Emergency Room. This travel assignment is for a 12-hour night-shift emergency department role supporting patients in a high-acuity trauma environment. Prior travel experience and emergency department experience in a similar-size setting are required.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of emergency department experience; experience in a Level I or Level II trauma setting; active Virginia or compact nursing license at the time of submission; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications; trauma certification such as Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), or ATLC.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior Cerner experience.
- Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Every-other-weekend availability is required. Orientation occurs every other Monday. Assignments end on Saturdays.
