Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Emergency Room This position provides comprehensive nursing care to Emergency Room patients through the nursing process and in accordance with applicable nursing practice standards and organizational policies. The role requires critical thinking, clinical judgment, leadership, delegation, and supervision to support safe patient care.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications; South Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license or multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license; two years of recent Emergency Room experience.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Provide care to Emergency Room patients; apply critical thinking and clinical judgment; anticipate and plan for safe patient care; maintain clinical competencies through continuing education; delegate care priorities according to staff education and experience; and provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel.
- Assignment Dates: 11/16/2026 through 01/23/2027.
