Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse Newburgh, IN. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a Level II trauma setting within a busy healthcare facility. The role supports the organizations mission to deliver excellent patient outcomes through skilled clinical practice and compassionate care.
Job Details
- Position Description: ER RN - WEEKEND Eve/Mid Variables with a contract length of 13 weeks, starting as soon as possible.
- Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts between 11 a.m. and 3 a.m. on Fridays through Sundays or Saturdays through Mondays, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; IN/Compact State License; minimum of 3+ years of ER experience; associate degree or certificate required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in nursing.
- Additional Information: Must pass a 12 lead EKG and Dysrhythmia exam. Experience in a Level II trauma unit preferred. Candidate should be resilient, capable of managing change, and have strong social skills. Scrub color is navy blue. Extensive coverage required on weekends and every other holiday.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must be able to demonstrate recent experience in electronic medical record charting, specifically Epic within the last year.
