Job Summary:

The role involves delivering efficient, age-specific nursing services to a diverse patient population, utilizing technical skills and clinical knowledge to ensure safe and effective care. The position emphasizes collaboration, communication, and professional growth within a Level 3 Trauma Center.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Registered nurse license to practice in Ohio; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Knowledge of nursing process and practice; use of clinical equipment such as stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers, and electronic monitoring devices
- Preferred Qualifications: ACLS and PALS certifications (adult and pediatric advanced life support) may be required depending on clinic needs
- Additional Information: The nurse will provide age-specific care to patients from infants to seniors, contributing to a Level 3 Trauma Center with specialized units for stroke and chest pain. The role involves handling protected health information (PHI) as part of regular responsibilities. Candidates must complete UHS Skills Checklist, possess a valid Driver's License or State ID, and submit a UHS Employment Packet and Prior Employment Form.
