Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient care and safety. We are looking for dedicated professionals to deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in critical situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Department.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during treatment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize advanced nursing skills to assess and manage patient conditions.
Requirements:
- Current RN license valid to work in the State of Texas.
- ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC (AHA or ARC) certifications.
- Standard Emergency Nursing skills.
- Ultrasound IV experience preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Emergency Nursing.
- Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically MedHost.
Additional Information:
- Scrubs: Any solid color.
- Patient ratio: 4:1 unless in fast track/triage.
- Number of beds: 24 plus 4 hall beds.
- No call or floating required.
- No block scheduling.
- Maximum RTO: 3 shifts; blackout dates include the weekend after Thanksgiving, the week of Christmas, and New Year's.
