**Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team as an Acute Travel RN!** **Job Description:** - **Location:** Memorial Hospital of Martinsville – Sovah Health, Martinsville, VA - **Unit:** Emergency Department - **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 - **Shift:** 7P-7A - **Weekend Hours:** As Needed/Every Other - **Call Requirements:** As Needed **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced Emergency Department. - Manage a diverse patient population, treating conditions such as chest pain, CHF, COPD, and psychiatric emergencies. - Collaborate effectively with a compassionate and professional team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Assist with emergency cases, conducting assessments and implementing care plans. - Ensure compliance with required certifications and protocols. **Qualifications:** - **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in an emergency acute hospital setting, with at least one travel assignment completed. - **Required Certifications:** - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - BLS (Basic Life Support) - CPI/Handle with Care - NIH (National Institutes of Health) - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) - **Education:** Current RN licensure and certifications required to practice in Virginia. - **Personality Traits:** Professional, positive, compassionate, and able to function effectively in a team environment. **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 34 - **Patient Ratios:** 1:5 - **EHR System:** Medhost - **Unit Supervisor:** Jessica Tate, Director of Emergency Services **Dress Code:** - Scrub color: Any color of traveler's choosing. - **Unacceptable Attire:** Casual wear. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
