Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support to patients in an acute care environment.
- Implement nursing interventions based on patient assessments and care plans.
- Monitor and document patient vitals and conditions regularly.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families about health management and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience in an acute care facility preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required.
- Facility Specific License/Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required.
- Department Specific License/Certifications:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor: Required.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification: Required.
