Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients in a fast-paced environment.
Unit Information
Location: Frankfort, KY
- Number of beds: 28
- Number of staff: 18 per 24 hours
- Patient Ratio: 1:4
Staffing Structure
- Day Shift: CNC, 3 RNs, Unit Clerk, Greeter
- Mid Shift: 3 RNs, 2 PCTs
- Night Shift: CNC, 3 RNs, Unit Clerk, Greeter
Equipment Used
- GE monitors
- Lifepaks
- Baxter IV pumps
- Ranger rapid infuser
- Ranger blood warmer
CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification
Additional Information
- Level 3 Trauma Center
- Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI
- Stroke Certified
Experience Requirement
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is preferred.
