Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at the time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience required
- Trauma Level I experience required
- First-time travelers are welcome with the required clinical experience
- ACLS and BLS required
- CNOR preferred
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular operating room workflows, sterile technique, and perioperative nursing care
- Epic experience preferred
- Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced surgical environment
Responsibilities
- Serve as a circulating RN in the CVOR
- Support a wide range of cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
- Maintain a safe, efficient, and sterile operating room environment
- Assist with specimen handling, time-outs, and universal protocol compliance
- Prepare for and support complex cases, including CABG, TAVR, LVAD/RVAD, thoracotomy, and aneurysm repair
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR team members to promote excellent patient outcomes
- Deliver high-quality patient care with attention to detail, safety, and teamwork
