Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
- Administer medications, monitor patient vitals, and manage life support equipment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more.
- Float between five hospitals as needed, including Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and OLOL.
- Ensure adherence to infection prevention protocols and patient safety standards.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CVICU or related critical care settings.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications; NRP preferred.
- Proficiency in EPIC charting system.
- Ability to interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias.
- Experience with equipment such as balloon pumps, LVADs, Impellas, and ECMO.
- Strong ability to manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
- Willingness to work every other weekend and holiday (EOW/EOH).
