Join our team as a Travel RN in the CVICU at a leading acute-care hospital in Reston, VA. This position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced nurses looking to make a difference in critical care. With a focus on fresh cardiac surgery patients, you'll play a vital role in their recovery journey.
Unit Specifics:
- Number of Beds: 4
- Patient Ratios: 1:1 immediate post-surgical, 1:2 POD 1-3
- Documentation System: Meditech Expanse
- Type of Equipment: Advanced cardiac care equipment
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience with fresh cardiac surgery patients
- Advanced skills: ACLS, Balloon pump, Impella training, Hemosphere or Acumen trained
- Certifications Required: ACLS
Scheduling Requirements:
- 36 hours per week with 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks
- Floating policy: Will take the same ratio as the unit floated to
