Job Summary
An Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available at a healthcare facility in Illinois. This role involves caring for patients across Medical Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke Neuro, Step-Down Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) units. The ideal candidate will have ICU experience, with extensive cardiac expertise, and be willing to float to Medical Surgical units as needed.
Job Details
- Certifications: Current Illinois Nursing License, CPR, ACLS, NIHSS.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; education verification required.
- Location: Illinois.
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 0 years required.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process, collaborating with interdisciplinary team members, administering prescribed medications and treatments, documenting care according to standards, developing patient care plans, participating in performance improvement activities, supporting other units, and using critical thinking for patient safety.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must demonstrate ICU experience, meet all certification and education requirements, and adhere to the specified schedule.
