Title:  RN - Cardiac Stepdown

Location:  Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Contract: 13 weeks

Schedule: 12 hour nights, float as needed, every other weekend.

Requirements:  2 years of RN - Cardiac Stepdown experience

Local candidates are not eligible for this role. Candidates must have a permanent tax home address at least 50 miles from the hospital.

-Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
-American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent.
-AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers or an AHA approved equivalent is required.

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This role requires competency in delivering care to a primarily adult population. The position aligns with the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).

Required Qualifications:

• Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice acquired through education at an accredited School of Nursing, qualifying for licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment.

Required Education:

• Associate's degree in nursing.

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
