The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.
Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient needs.
Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plans of care through initial and ongoing assessments.
Initiates assessments based on patient problems or needs, physician diagnoses, and functional health frameworks.
Performs therapeutic nursing interventions and manages patient care.
Documents care according to standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
Advocates for evidence-based nursing practice and supports the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
Provides patient-centered care aligned with the professional nursing practice model.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Mac-LAB
Impella
Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention)
Right heart catheterization
Left heart catheterization
Required Soft Skills / Clinical Experience
Experience circulating during pacemaker insertion
Pulmonary embolism case experience
Preferred Skills & Experience
Critical care experience highly preferred
Prior experience with EPIC and Sensis highly preferred
Education
Required: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Required Certifications & Licensure
Active New Jersey RN license or multistate compact RN license
BLS – American Heart Association (AHA)
ACLS – American Heart Association (AHA)
