Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) RN Location unspecified. This position involves circulating and monitoring cases in a busy cath lab environment, with a focus on structural heart procedures such as Mitraclip, TAVR, Watchman, PFO, ASD, PCI, IABP insertion, Impella-assisted PCI or implantation, and ECMO cannulation. The role requires collaboration with cardiologists and cath lab techs in a high-volume, STEMI receiving center.
Job Details
- Position Description: Responsible for circulating and monitoring cases in the cath lab, including procedural sedation testing prior to arrival. Scrubbing is preferred but not required.
- Required Qualifications: ACLS & BLS certification, WA License or Compact License, valid driver's license, minimum 1 year of experience, location requirements, shift schedule.
- Schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts weekly, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with approximately 1 weeknight call per week and 1-2 weekend calls every 6 weeks. On-call response time is 30 minutes.
- Additional Information: Experience with Structural Heart cases and MacLab preferred. EMR System used is Epic. The position involves on-call duties including holidays and weekends. No self-scheduling; leadership assigns shifts. Orientation includes a 1-week program with on-unit training and weekend buddy call.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
