Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab
Unit Profile
The Cath Lab unit is committed to providing high-quality care to patients undergoing various cardiovascular procedures. This unit operates with seasoned professionals and utilizes advanced technology to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Number of Beds: 223
- Type of Equipment: GE systems
- Documentation System: Machab, Cardiohab
- Scheduling Requirements: 5-8’s, Call rotation
- Patient Experience Requirements: ACLS, BLS certifications
Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with procedures including catheterizations, electrophysiology, vascular interventions, and interventional radiology.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Utilize advanced technology and equipment effectively in the Cath Lab setting.
- Provide patient education and support throughout their care journey.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in a Cath Lab setting.
- Proficient in the procedures performed in the Cath Lab.
- Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
