Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Behavioral Health to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients experiencing mental health conditions and behavioral disorders. The RN will be responsible for patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 15 months of experience in Psych/BH capacity [required]
- EPIC experience [required]
- 1st time travelers accepted with 12 months of Psych/BH experience
- recent/current Inpatient experience [highly preferred]
- experience with all age groups; adolescent, adults, geri patients [required] --- "home unit is Adults"
Shifts Note:
Monday - Friday; Nights: 11p - 7a, 40 hrs/week; No Call, Every other weekend; FLOAT -- across campuses & age groups when needed
Will be required to float across all Des Moines campuses to like units.
