We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Hagerstown, MD. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, focusing on the mental health needs of children, adolescents, and adults. If you have a strong background in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing, we want to hear from you!
Requirements:
- Strong experience with adolescents and children preferred; if no experience, must have 2 years of travel RN experience with a valid license at the time of submission.
- 1.5 to 2 years of recent Psychiatric/Behavioral Health experience required.
- Every other weekend (EOW) availability required.
- Locals are not eligible for this position.
- Client will conduct interviews within 48 hours of submission.
Additional Details:
- Must be open to working with children, adolescents, and adult units.
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training will be provided.
- May be expected to step in as charge nurse as needed, which may include a rate increase for that shift.
- Most of the time, there will be a shift supervisor, CNO, and nurse manager onsite, with someone on call.
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used: Epic (required).
