More about our team Our Market Emergency RNs are adaptable professionals who work at both Centerpoint - Winchester & Centerpoint - Paris. How you'll contribute A Market Emergency RN who excels in this role:

• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, assesses and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

What we're looking for Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Associate's degree in nursing, required
• KY RN state licensure or compact licensure, required
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 1 month of hire & Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 1 month of hire
• TNCC within 1 year hire
• Handle with care or equivalent in 120 days of hire
• CEN within 2 years of hire date
• Bachelor's degree in nursing, preferred
• ENPC preferred
• NRP preferred
