Registered Nurse Healthcare PRN Weekends

Inova Schar Cancer Institute’s Stem Cell Transplant Clinic is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the team in a PRN capacity for our Stem Cell Transplant Infusion Clinic. Our Infusion Clinic is open 7:00 am – 7:00 pm, Monday – Friday and with weekend call coverage options, especially for PRN team members. Our nurses work 12-hour shifts. Our team of nationally renowned doctors, specialists, surgeons, genetic counselors, nurses and caregivers are backed by the latest in drug discovery, clinical trials, research and advanced treatments. The Registered Nurse provides knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patients, families, nurses and healthcare delivery teams. Consistently provides safe and therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way while incorporating differences into the provision of care and conducting all patient care in a patient/family centered manner. Determines processes for delivery of care from direct patient/family communication, technology and other healthcare team member collaboration. A minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience. BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association required RN licensed, and eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
