Board Certified/Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Trauma & Critical Care Surgeons provide exceptional coverage in our department. Our trauma team of board-certified or board-eligible trauma and critical care surgeons treats community children and adults 24/7. A Pediatric Emergency Department with board-certified pediatric emergency medicine physicians, an Acute Psychiatric Unit with dedicated psychiatric nurses, and an Intermediate Care Area for less urgent patients to reduce length of stay. Our providers collaborate with in-house radiologists, hospitalists, critical care physicians, and a multidisciplinary team of medical and surgical specialists to provide the best care and adapt to emergency medicine innovations. As an Emergency Room (ER) Nurse, you will be responsible for providing the highest level of care to patients in need of immediate medical assistance. Assessing patient needs and providing critical care Monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and responding to medical emergencies Working as part of a team of doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals Creating patient care plans and maintaining accurate medical records Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred. Registered Nurse or Compact State License in New Hampshire. Nurses are expected to pursue professional certification upon eligibility or within three years of entering the specialty practice.
