- Is RTO Accepted? What is the Max:
- 3 days maximum

- On Call Requirement? NO
- Certs: AHA BLS, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City), and completion of the LA County Employee Health Clearance prior to the assignment start date.
- License: Active CA RN License
- If CA License is expired, it will need to be renewed
- If applying for CA License, please contact the Senators office to expediate the application.
Experience:
- Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in one or more of the following:
- Psychiatric/Behavioral Health
- Medical-Surgical
- Correctional Health
- Emergency Room (ER)
- Candidate must know how to draw blood
- Travel experience is preferred, however is not required
- Will accept local travelers
COVID Vaccine Requirement: Covid vaccination + booster if eligible is a must
Responsibilities:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for adolescents with acute and chronic medical conditions, behavioral health concerns, substance use disorders, and developmental needs.
- Conducting intake health screenings, administering medications and treatments, responding to medical emergencies, monitoring in medical observation, coordinating care with physicians and mental health professionals, and maintaining accurate health records
All CA Correctional RN positions; $2,200/week | 40hrs/wk | 16 weeks | 11/16 start: - Downey, CA – RN Evenings | 2 PM–10:30 PM - Malibu, CA – RN Evenings | 2 PM–10:30 PM - Malibu, CA – RN Nights | 10 PM–6:30 AM - Commerce, CA – RN Evenings Overview: Facility size: 420 Bed Facility Scrub Color Requirement: Any color—Navy Blue or Black preferred to remain unified PPE: Will be provided Parking: All facilities have parking on site Pay Cycle: Sunday – Saturday EMR: Cerner Case types: - Juvenile Court Behavioral Services - Psych - Inpatient - Correctional
