Unit Specifics:

·       Number of Beds : 19; 6 Hall; 6 Sub-Waiting room

·       Type of equipment : GE Monitors, Lucas 3, Glidescope, EV 1000; Level 1 infuser

·       Documentation system: Meditech

·       Scheduling requirements: Weekend/Holiday rotation

·       Floating policy: Do not usually float to other areas

·       Patient Experience requirements: Whiteboard usage; Keeping patients informed; Patients/Families feel cared for

Hospital Specifics-

·       Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC and CPI (w/n 30 days)  TNCC

Procedures performed on unit:  Moderate Sedation; Central Line placement; Chest tube placement; IV insertion, Lab Draw, POC testing; EKG’s; Respiratory Treatments

Dress Code:

·       Dark Blue Scrubs
