Job Summary
Pediatric Intensive Care Float Nurse Children's Hospital Colorado at Anschutz Medical Campus. This role involves providing specialized pediatric critical care in a float capacity across multiple units, including Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Cardiac ICU (CICU), and acute care floors. The position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic, hospital setting that emphasizes excellent patient care and teamwork.
Job Details
- Position Title: RN - Pediatric Acute Care (Float) with Clinical Resource Team Float Pool
- Location: Children's Hospital Colorado @ Anschutz Medical Campus
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks, from 01/12/2027 to 04/24/2027
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, minimum
- Required Qualifications: BSN degree, Colorado RN license, prior travel experience, minimum of 2 years pediatric critical care experience, BLS, PALS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) certifications, at least 1 year of pediatric critical care nursing experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior float team experience; ICU experience preferred for pediatric critical care roles.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Additional Information: Critical care RNs float primarily to PICU, NICU, CICU, North and South Campuses, and acute care floors. No RTO approved within the first two weeks of the assignment. Medical and religious exemption requests for influenza vaccination are permitted with appropriate exemption forms submitted.
