Job Summary
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift. This position is based in an acute care facility and involves working in a specialized unit providing intermediate patient care. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients, including administering insulin and cardiac drips, starting IVs, and managing post cardiac catheterization patients.
Job Details
- Position Description: RN for PCU: Will be assigned to float team. A minimum of every other weekend and/or schedule adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and patient care. Travelers must work 2 out of the 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, and New Years Day/Eve.
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS are required; NIHSS required prior to start. Minimum of 1 year telemetry experience required. Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable. NY license, or proof of application, required in packet at time of submission.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: IVS to OFFER. Monday to Sunday. No block schedules for any reason. Bi-weekly orientations on Monday, next available is 11/02. Please ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained. This facility requires all work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) to be complete in order to submit.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
