Exciting Opportunity for RN in PCU Float Team!

• Position: Registered Nurse for Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Role: Float Team Assignment
• Schedule: Minimum of every other weekend and adjustments based on unit and patient needs
• Holidays: Required to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day/Eve

Job Requirements:

• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS required (NIHSS needed before start)
• Minimum of 1 year of telemetry experience
• Experience with insulin drips, cardiac drips, starting IVs, and post cardiac catheterization
• Epic experience from within the last 2 years (non-negotiable)
• Current NY nursing license or proof of application (applied date required) at submission

Additional Information:

• IV Services to OFFER
• Monday to Sunday availability required
• No block schedules available
• Bi-weekly orientations every Monday (next on 11/02)
• All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
• Complete work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) necessary for submission

Important Considerations:

• Public transportation is NOT accessible; reliable personal or rental vehicle is recommended
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November to April
