Job Summary
The organization is seeking an Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) in an acute care setting. This role involves providing high-quality patient care across both emergency department and inpatient units during night shifts, with float responsibilities as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Position Description: Charge experience preferred. Float across Emergency Department and inpatient units as needed. Must be able to interpret strips.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC required.
- Minimum Qualifications: RN license, current certifications in ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, and TNCC.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Typical patient population includes standard ER cases, prison and psych patients, deliveries in ER, psych holds (usually held less than 24 hours). The shift includes working every 2 or 3 weeks with rotation for holidays. Scrubs are provided. Night shift has a charge nurse, nurse aides, and a range of diagnostic and support services on site.
