**Join Our Team as an RN in Mother Baby Care!** **Job Description:** - Become a vital part of our collaborative healthcare team as a Registered Nurse in the Mother Baby unit. - Engage in patient and family education, ensuring every family receives the support they need. - Play a crucial role by transitioning newborns and taking charge to lead your team. - Experience the excitement of a dynamic environment where you may float to other departments as a safety companion. - Transfer your skills from Labor and Delivery (L&D) — antepartum, intrapartum, preop, circulate, and PACU experience is preferred. **Minimum Qualifications:** **Required:** - Current Montana Licensure as a Registered Nurse. - American Heart Association BLS certification. - STABLE certification. - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, with recertification required every two years. - Competence in and a willingness to practice modified primary nursing. **Essential Job Functions:** - Collect comprehensive patient data to assess health or situations. - Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues. - Identify expected outcomes tailored to each patient. - Develop personalized care plans with strategies to achieve expected outcomes. - Implement the identified plan of care. - Promote health and maintain a safe environment. - Systematically enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice. - Pursue ongoing knowledge and competency reflecting current nursing practices. - Evaluate your nursing practice against professional standards and guidelines. - Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. - Incorporate ethical provisions into all aspects of nursing practice. - Utilize research findings in everyday practice. - Provide leadership and guidance within the professional setting. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** - Demonstrate sound judgment, patience, and maintain professionalism. - Thrive in a busy, high-stress environment. - Showcase creativity, problem analysis, and decision-making skills. - Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights. - Exhibit tact, discretion, and sensitivity while maintaining confidentiality. - Be self-directed, completing assignments accurately and thoroughly. - Strong emotional intelligence and teamwork skills. **Schedule Requirements:** - Regular and sustained attendance is essential. - May require working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts. **Physical Requirements:** - **Lifting:** Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. - **Sitting:** Can maintain a sitting posture for extended periods. - **Standing & Walking:** Maintain a standing posture and move around as necessary. - **Climbing:** Rarely ascend or descend ladders or stairs. - **Range of Motion:** Ability to twist, bend, and stoop regularly. - **Reaching:** Lift and carry objects above shoulder level as necessary. - **Vision:** Close visual acuity for data analysis and communication. - **Cognitive Skills:** Learn new tasks, maintain focus, and make timely decisions. **Exposures:** - Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and various healthcare materials. - Involvement in emotionally challenging situations with patients and families. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
