Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of psychiatric nursing or behavioral health nursing experience preferred
• Experience caring for patients across the lifespan in an inpatient behavioral health environment is highly valued
• Strong assessment, communication, and de-escalation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced psychiatric care setting
• Professional, compassionate approach to patient-centered care

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to psychiatric and behavioral health patients in a therapeutic environment
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to behavioral health needs
• Administer medications and follow treatment plans as ordered
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support individualized patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and timely
• Use calming and de-escalation techniques to promote safety and stability
• Support patients and families with empathy, professionalism, and respect
