Job Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of nurse manager or director experience required
• BSN required; MSN or MBA preferred
• Experience in the Medical ICU and CVICU required
• CCRN preferred
• BLS (AHA) required
• Strong knowledge of critical care quality metrics and patient outcomes, including CLABSIs, CAUTIs, VAP, and sepsis
• Experience with Joint Commission readiness and CMS standards
• Demonstrated success with budget development, capital budget planning, and productivity management
• Proven ability to lead change, support cultural transformation, and guide interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Responsibilities

• Serve as an interim Critical Care Director overseeing CVICU, ICU, and the future SICU
• Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on patient outcomes, nursing excellence, and regulatory readiness
• Support budget planning, capital budget development, and productivity management
• Optimize ICU patient flow and strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration across services
• Integrate care models across critical care units to improve consistency, efficiency, and clinical outcomes
• Promote a positive team culture and effectively manage resistance to change
• Build strong relationships and influence clinical and operational stakeholders across the healthcare organization
